As a Communications Advisor, Maud is part of the Communications Team at AMS Institute since 2016. In her role, Maud works on building the community at AMS Institute both online and offline. Integrated marketing communications are central to her multidisciplinary role. Her efforts contribute to external and internal branding and positioning of the institute though online social channels and events.
Maud develops the AMS Science for the City series at Pakhuis de Zwijger, on the latest research and practical solutions on urban themes such as water, energy, waste, food, data and mobility. By programming together with the team of Pakhuis de Zwijger, she crafts inspiring and innovative talks and workshops that involve researchers and urban professionals, which carries the message of AMS Institute out.
Maud holds a Master of Science degree in New Media Studies from the Vrije Universiteit in Brussel and a Bachelor of Science in Communication Science from the University of Amsterdam. She also obtained a short course certificate in Urban Management and Development Theories from the Institute of Housing and Urban Development Studies (IHS) at Erasmus University in Rotterdam.
