Nina is the Program Developer for Education at AMS Institute. At the heart of her daily activities lies the coordination of the education program MSc MADE, where she facilitates connections between the program, the Research & Valorization team and the city. At the same time, Nina develops new educational initiatives at AMS such as professional and online education - connecting technology to a new generation of urban professionals in Amsterdam.
Nina holds two master of science degrees from the TU Delft - one in Urbanism and one in Science Communication. Her position at AMS Institute offers her the ideal opportunity to combine her knowledge in both fields. She recently developed the Living Lab course for the MSc MADE program of AMS Institute in a team effort, which increased her fascination with learning processes. She wants to learn more about education innovation and research in the urban domain.
At AMS Institute, Nina also coordinates the activities of TU Delft Research Fellows in a team effort.
Nina’s motivation stems from the connective power of education as it links knowledge developed at university to its appliance in society. In her eyes, it is crucial to find ways to learn new things together to develop sustainable solutions for the city.
