Petar is taking part in the Smart Urban Mobility team as an intern. He is working on the team’s vision and its presentation and on various research projects. He is gaining valuable insights and experience and is learning the way of working of AMS Institute. Petar creates usable solutions and products by merging his knowledge base with a combination of ideas and concepts, analytic tools, and visualization skills.
Petar studied spatial planning at the Vienna University of Technology. He is currently pursuing a double-degree master program in urban planning and design at Vienna University of Technology and Tongji University in Shanghai. He is conducting research on 15-minute city concepts, attempting to discover relationships between cycling travel times and various amenities and spatial characteristics. He uses Amsterdam as a case study for this.
Moreover, Petar is passionate about urban photography and modern design, and enjoys exploring the world of data and computer-based planning.
Petar is enthralled by the institute's integrated scientific approach to urban engineering, where Amsterdam serves as a city lab. According to Petar, the implementation of ideas and solutions is crucial. It is essential for improving our quality of life.
