At this moment Gert-Jan Steeneveld works as an assistant professor at the department of Meteorology and Air Quality of Wageningen University. His research topics cover:
- Understanding the physical processes that govern fog
- Stable Boundary Layers
- Evaluation and understanding model behavior of the boundary layer schemes in the mesoscale model WRF
- Urban meteorology
At AMS Institute, Gert-Jan Steeneveld is involved several projects among which AAMS (Amsterdam Atmospheric Super Site) and HURP (Healthy Urban Route Planner).
