Anthony Townsend (NYU) – The socially inclusive city
Anthony Townsend is a visionary in the field of Smart Cities. He is a Senior Research Scientist at New York University’s Rudin Center for Transportation Policy and Management and he also is the author of Smart Cities: Big Data, Civic Hackers, and the Quest for a New Utopia, which was published in 2013 The book is the culmination of a decade of research, activism and consulting at the intersection of urbanization and ubiquitous computing.
Frank Kresin (Waag Society) and Joost Brinkman (Accenture) will give a first reaction on the presentation of Anthony Townsend. This special lecture is organized in collaboration with the John Adams Institute and moderated by Tracy Metz.
