How to get to Marineterrein
Starting September 3rd, we will work from a temporary location: the top two floors of building 025 (the blue marked building between Makerversity and IJsfontein, see image below).
Later this year, we will move into our new building (marked yellow). This building is currently being renovated.
The best way to get to Marineterrein is by bike or public transport.
Main entrance Marineterrein: Kattenburgerstraat 5-7, 1018 JA Amsterdam
Bike: Biking from Amsterdam Centraal Station: The Oosterdoksdraaibrug is closed. Use the route via NEMO-brug, Prins Hendrikkade, or via Piet Heinkade to arrive at Marineterrein.
From Central Station to Marineterrein:
• Bus 22, stop Kattenburgerplein: walk 150 meters (2 minutes) to Marineterrein.
• Bus 48, stop Kadijksplein: walk 200 meters (3 minutes).
• Tram 26 to the stop ‘Kattenburgerstraat’, walk 450 meters via the Kattenburgerstraat.
• Or walk. The route is about 1,7 km; a 17-minute walk.
Parking: With the ambitions of developing the Marineterrein into a car-free area, parking possibilities are limited. We have a few parking spots available. Parking is reservation only. Reservations can be made via the Office Team.
How to get to KIT
The best way to get to KIT is by bike or public transport.
Bike: Bike parking is available both at the front and the back of the building.
Public transport: In front of the AMS home trams 9,10 and 14 will stop at Alexanderplein. Please find the best public transport connection via www.9292.nl
Parking: We have a few parking spots available. Parking is reservation only. Reservations can be made via the Office Team.
There are paid parking spots around the KIT area. Paid parking is from Monday to Saturday from 09.00 to 21.00.
