The number of sustainable timber building systems in the built environment is increasing. But what about the feasibility, environmental impact and availability of sustainable European wood needed for these buildings? To distinguish the myths from the facts, AMS Institute and TU Delft have developed the booklet 'Timber Myths Dispelled', which will be launched during the 'Boom(ing) Business' event at Pakhuis de Zwijger on June 8th.

During the event, several experts (including Joke Dufourmont and Pablo van der Lugt) will discuss sustainably managed forests and the impact of the increasing demand for sustainable wood for timber construction.
