Amsterdam Smart City consists of a public private partnership and an international community. By collaborating and sharing knowledge we come up with innovative solutions for metropolitan issues of a social, economic and ecological nature. This way we ensure that the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area remains liveable, now and in the years to come.
The partners of Amsterdam Smart City are convinced that the changes necessary for the city and region to move forward, can only be achieved through collaboration. Pooling brainpower, skills and networks will enable us to develop better streets, neighbourhoods and cities and address the most important transitions we’re facing today.
Amsterdam Smart City partners focus on four societal transitions: Digital City, Circular City, Energy, and Mobility. On energy and mobility, AMS Institute is an important partner.
