Edith has joined the Education Team at AMS Institute as a flexible study advisor during the maternity leave of Sanne Collette. In this role, she provides guidance to students in the MADE program, assisting them in both their academic pursuits and personal circumstances that may impact their studies. Known for her practicality and availability, Edith supports students both at AMS Institute and through online channels.
In addition to her work with MADE, Edith is also involved in another joint degree program at WUR, the MSc in Water Technology, which takes her across the country to support her students. Her educational background includes studies in International Business Communications in Nijmegen and France, as well as Psychology in Amsterdam, equipping her with the skills to guide students from diverse backgrounds effectively.
Reliability and friendliness are core values for Edith, and she believes that humor and coffee are essential to her daily routine. She invites colleagues at AMS Institute who share her appreciation for these elements to join her for a coffee and conversation.
“Students are so open to new things and new people, they always make me feel welcome. I’m looking forward to being there for them.”
