Andrea La Grotteria, a Master's student in Computer Science at EPFL, holds a background in Computer Engineering from Politecnico di Torino. He specializes in software systems and data science. His industry experience includes roles as a Research Intern at Oracle Labs and Front-End Architect at Column, an Italian startup.

Andrea is passionate about mobility and transportation-related emissions. He is currently working on applying large-scale data analysis and machine learning to urban dynamics.

At MIT Senseable City Lab and AMS Institute, he uses big data and artificial intelligence to explore the effects of reducing city-wide speed limits from 50 km/h to 30 km/h.
