Lars Kwakman is a junior researcher Law & Circular Construction at Wageningen University. He holds degrees in legal theory & socio-legal studies (MA Erasmus University Rotterdam, 2020) and international technology law (MA Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, 2022).

His past research has focused on the relationship between the rule of law, ecologically unequal exchange and technology fetishism. Currently, he works within the CircuLaw initiative contributing to a research project that focuses on how the transition towards a circular economy can be stimulated with law and regulation. CircuLaw is created by a large consortium of partners, including the municipality of Amsterdam and the Amsterdam Institute for Advanced Metropolitan Solutions.
