Starterscafé is an early evening pop-up café at the Culture Club, organized by the Amsterdamse University of the Arts (AHK).
Whether you are producing a film, creating a performance, or realising a spatial design, sooner or later you will need to get others on board with your idea. In this workshop, you will learn how to present your project clearly and convincingly, in a way that suits you. On the floor, you will work with short, playful exercises and discover how to distil your story down to its essence and bring it to life with practical, hands-on techniques. An energetic workshop full of movement, feedback, and fun, in which you will learn to trust your own voice and style. At the end, you will present yourself to your audience with greater focus, courage, and persuasiveness: ready to share your idea with funders, partners, or the public.
