On June 21st (the longest day of the year) we celebrate Amsterdam’s 750th anniversary on a 15-kilometer car-free stretch of the A10 Ring Road. It will be a truly Amsterdam-style celebration with music, sports, dance, art, knowledge, food, and drinks. AMS Institute will also participate, joining other Amsterdam-based knowledge institutions in shaping the city of the future through special activities. Be sure to order your (free) ticket in time!

For one day, the A10 Ring Road will be the place to come together and celebrate 750 years of Amsterdam, a day to experience the extraordinary and create new memories. During the festival, students, lecturers, and researchers from vocational (MBO), applied sciences (HBO), and academic (WO) institutions will showcase how they are already working together toward a livable future for the city.
No boring lectures here, but instead a unique physics fair, challenging games and activities, an AI-powered DJ, dance, and live music performances. Come experience, watch, listen, explore, and take action for the city of tomorrow!
