In the 'horror summer' of 2021 we had to deal with huge forest fires in the Mediterranean, deadly floods in Germany and Belgium, among others, and a devastating IPCC report that predicts extreme climate change as a direct result of human activities. Meanwhile, during the corona pandemic, the call for a new, sustainable start has been growing. Are we finally going to build with wood on a large scale? In this last episode of the second series on timber construction, we look back at our previous episodes and sketch a 'wooden' picture of the future.

Speakers are amongst other:

  • Pablo van der Lugt | Researcher at AMS Institute
  • Marieke van Doorninck | Alderperson at City of Amsterdam
  • Olaf Gisper | Olaf Gisper Architects
