During this event at Marineterrein Amsterdam, the startups from the Startup in Residence program will present themselves. You'll get the chance to see and meet startups during the break-out sessions.

One of the finalists is Boombrix a startup founded by two of the MSc MADE students Noelle Teh and Jakub Supera. Their idea for 'trees in need' originated during a MADE course. They will present their idea in a ''break out'' session. They created a brick look-a-like device made out of recycled plastic that can help monitor the health of trees.

Startup in Residence
The Startup in Residence program connects startups and scale-ups with key social challenges in Amsterdam. Founded in Amsterdam in 2015, the program invites both Dutch and international entrepreneurs to tackle these challenges in collaboration with the local government. Their innovative solutions impact the City as well as its citizens. More information about Startup in Residence can be found on their website.
