Ten team have been working all summer to develop their urban sustainable business ideas. They have been talking to potential customers and producers, and have been provided with all sort information.

Now is the time to hear if they’re ready to turn ideas into reality. The finals are open for anyone who is eager to hear what these young great minds have come up with. Maybe you can even help them along their journey to becoming a start-up?

The final is a 3-hour event in which the ten teams will have 5 minutes to pitch their idea in front of a jury of experts. The panel will select a winner.

Prizes
The top 2 will get a change to pitch their idea at the Grand International Finals in Amsterdam (November 14 and 15), where they have a change of winning cash prizes up to 10.000€. There is also a wild card to be won for the finals.

In-kind prizes

ING
In-depth discussion for 1 team with ING experts about the value of their business case. The experts will give the teams an insight in how investors will look at their proposition. The team will leave with tips and tricks to impress future investors, improve their business value and increase their differentiating character.

Positive Venture Group
A financial consultation for 1 team with Boris Lambert from the Positive Venture Group. They are a finance outsource company focused on supporting growth stage businesses on an as-needed, on-demand basis. They achieve and accelerate results by providing the talent, tools, processes and funding services necessary to fast track their client’s goals.

Startup in Residence
Masterclass or training provided for by Startup in Residence for the top 3 teams. The teams together with Startup in Residence decide the topic pf the masterclass.

Come join us and hear the ten young talented teams pitching their business ideas. And to show that dreams do come true, Daan Wijnant from Felyx (winner of the Dutch ClimateLaunchpad 2016) will share their experiences of the journey from idea to business.

Finally the panel of experts will select and explain why they think he winners will make a difference for urban sustainability.
