The opening of the academic year 2024-2025 at AMS Institute promises to be an inspiring gathering centered around this year's theme, "Out of the Ivory Tower, into the City." As we embark on this new journey filled with opportunities, we will explore diverse perspectives from urban innovators and experts on creating better future cities.

During this event, we will delve into how the urban innovators of tomorrow can devise solutions to complex urban challenges by immersing themselves directly in the urban environment. We will investigate how solutions arise from the dynamic interplay between research and practice, with AMS Institute as the perfect launchpad. By listening to inspiring stories from our community and fostering meaningful dialogue and exchange, we aim to uncover new insights and forge new relationships for a productive and collaborative academic year ahead.
