At the beginning of this year, Witteveen+Bos launched a series of 10 webinars about 'Robust Water Systems'. Episode 7 of the series will take place next Tuesday. This one's about 'Heat & Water systems', with Anna Goede, Urban Analyst at Witteveen+Bos, our Climate Resilient Cities program manager, Gerben Mol, and Laura Huigens of Network Water & Climate as chair of the day.

Heat & Water systems
The urgency for climate-proof and robust water systems is increasing with challenges such as increasing drought, sea level rise and soil subsidence. To visualize heat stress, Witteveen+Bos and Wageningen University & Research made the heat map showing 'wind chill temperatures'. This heat map makes it possible to determine where cooling measures are needed and the effect thereof can also be calculated.

Furthermore, last year, together with the City of Amsterdam, Witteveen+Bos, and CLEVERºFRANKE, we created the 'Find Your Cool' online map for Amsterdammers to discover places in their neighborhoods to 'chill out'.

Excited to hear more about this and dive into the topic of heat and water systems? Click here to sign up to participate on next Tuesday, April 6 at 10:00am CET.
