Collaboration with residents on making homes more sustainable is becoming increasingly common. Yet the conversation often focuses on what works well. This event, organised by the Participation Knowledge Hub (Kennisknooppunt Participatie) and the NWO research project ALIGN4energy, takes a different approach. We invite you to share your practical experiences of what (still) does not work when it comes to encouraging participation and collaboration.

Together with participation professionals from municipalities, energy companies, housing associations and other organisations, we will explore where we encounter obstacles in practice—and discuss possible solutions. We will also draw on the insights and findings of the ALIGN4energy research project.

This event will be held in Dutch. You can view the original Dutch invitation here.

Do you work for a municipality, housing association, energy company, or another organisation involved in participation and sustainable housing? Then we warmly invite you to join us.

Do you know someone who might also be interested in this event? Please feel free to forward this invitation.

Afternoon Programme (in English)

Following the morning programme, participants are welcome to join an optional lunch. Afterwards, an English-language afternoon session will provide a more in-depth presentation of the ALIGN4energy project results. You will also have the opportunity to view research posters and speak with the researchers. Read more about the afternoon programme here.

In the registration form, you can indicate whether you would like to attend the lunch, the afternoon programme, or both. If you decide on the day itself to join the afternoon session, you are more than welcome, although advance registration is greatly appreciated.
