Project

LogiCELL: Living Lab Circular Logistics

Circularity in Urban Regions

Logistics for a circular economy have proven to be a challenge. Using the Living Lab methodology, we aim to solve problems that hinder reuse and recycling in logistics. We facilitate field labs to accelerate circular initiatives in Amsterdam.

Project

ATELIER

Urban Energy

What if we could generate more energy rather than consume this? In the ATELIER project, neighborhoods in Amsterdam and Bilbao are transformed into 'Positive Energy Districts' by implementing innovative solutions. Ultimately reducing 1,7kton CO2 emissions.

Project

Sustainable Local Food Distribution

Metropolitan Food Systems

Many localization initiatives in food supply chains aim at sustainability benefits, which may or may not be realistic. This study aims to explore this problem area, providing a step towards evidence-based decision-making in food supply chains.

Project

Evidence Based Food System Design

Metropolitan Food Systems

Feeding people in a growing metropolitan city challenges the production, supply, consumption and removal of food. This project uses data to outline scenarios and integrate the flow of food added to the growing evidence for future food systems.
